Free is the most searched term on Google, Yahoo, MSN, WindowsLive and other major searches of the Internet today. Without a doubt, most things online are free, or are they. In the free blog, I will delve deeper into this thing called free, and try to unlock for my readers the mystery and the madness of the word free.
Anything that you may click on that says free, will certainly come with a pay attached to it in some form. In other words, if you fill out a form for the word free, then you just paid for the free service with your email address and private information. Now, where that information goes is anyone's guess as people and organizations literally make a living from selling and buying this type of information. So, was that free information, really free?
Newbies to the Internet fall prey and victim to the so called free software downloads all the time. In case you are not aware of it, the free WordPress blog templates, like you see here, are not free. They contain numerous links in the source codes that go to other people's sites. Most often, you will not even pickup on this unless you view the source. Then you will see that the free template, was indeed not free. This is the way of the wily Internet, and things that you should be well aware of when you click on a free site that talks about getting something for nothing.
